Technical terrain demands precision, and unexpected pedal slips or flying debris can quickly turn a great ride into a painful one. VPD Shins MTB Protection from POC adds lightweight lower-leg coverage so we can ride aggressively through enduro stages, rock gardens, and steep descents without worrying about exposed shins.

At the core of the design is POC’s flexible VPD impact protection. The material remains soft and highly ventilated during normal movement, allowing natural pedaling motion and airflow on long climbs. When an impact occurs, the VPD structure stiffens momentarily to absorb and disperse force, helping reduce the sting from pedal strikes or kicked-up stones. A durable front fabric panel reinforces the pad where abrasion and repeated trail contact are most likely.

A breathable polyamide-elastane sleeve keeps the protector securely in place while maintaining next-to-skin comfort, even during extended rides. The upper cuff is shaped specifically to integrate with compatible knee protectors, allowing riders to build continuous coverage from knee to shin without overlapping bulk or gaps in protection.
