P Zero Race TLR SL-R Tire

Pirelli engineered the P Zero Race TLR SL-R around PAAS, a patent-pending profile shape developed through CFD analysis and wind tunnel testing that keeps airflow attached across the tire-to-rim transition, cutting aerodynamic drag by an average of up to 5 watts in crosswind conditions. The LiteCORE casing pairs with that shape as Pirelli's lightest and most efficient TLR construction, claiming 275g at 700x28 and 295g at 700x30 on a 120 TPI build. SmartEVO2 compound, mixed at Pirelli's own facility near its R&D headquarters, adds measurable wet-grip improvement over the standard SmartEVO formulation without giving back the rolling resistance gains.
