Runs small in the waist
- Fit:
- Runs small

I looked carefully at the size chart before ordering the shorts. However, the waist rubber band was too tight, digging in my stomach. If the shorts didn't have the sawn-in rubber band, they would fit fine. I am afraid a larger size would be too large for me. Other than that, they are good looking shorts made of a quality material. If you are in-between sizes, these shorts may not work for you.

I am around 130 pounds and 5' 4". I had cycling shorts in a size small and I found that they were very tight on my thighs. I ordered these and wore them while cycling and I had no problems with comfort.

WOWZA. The factory definitely messed up the sizing on these. I've bought lots of Pearl Izumi shorts and these are child-sized. Everything else I am assuming is good, loved the pattern... but naw.

I love these shorts

I previously bought 2 pair and liked them so much I bought 3 more. In regular clothes I would wear medium for shorts, but I've always bought large for bike shorts. So for me these fit like other bike shorts but if it's your first time to buy them you might want to go a size larger

I already own Pearl Izumi Attack shorts in both medium and large. The large Attack shorts I just ordered are the "Pursuit" Attack shorts, which I hadn't noticed until they arrived. My older shorts are "Select". I can't find Select anywhere and it appears from the Pearl Izumi website that Pursuit Attack may have replaced Select? Anyhow, the large Pursuit fits like the medium Select. The fabric is lighter as compared to Select and the Chamois is thinner. First impression - not a fan of the changes but I'd be willing to give them a try out of shipping return laziness except that they're too small. So they're going back.

Reaaallly small, maybe my fault
Totally thought a medium would suffice as I'm usually a small/medium in most leggings and shorts. BOY WAS I WRONG. Haha, I've never bought bike shorts before so I'm guessing that plays a role but just holding them up to my hips and thighs- they wouldn't even make it past my knees if I tried. I plan on getting 2 sizes up and trying that. With that said, I love the design and would like to find them bigger.

Not up to par compared with earlier versions of this model. I like that fact that they have slimmed down the chamois a bit. However, the fabric seems less robust and the elastic on the legs is gone. Sorry P.I., but a few swatches of rubbery paint is not enough to keep the legs from riding up and that is with a fit that is otherwise quite snug. Even though the stated inseam is the same, they seem to fit shorter in the legs and lower back than years prior. These will be fine for shorter training rides of a but this can no longer be my go-to short for all day in the saddle.
