The Pi PRO/BLACK Wind Vest's face fabric is a stretch-woven construction that conforms to the body. Pearl iZUMi's engineers trimmed the torso length and added a silicone hem to eliminate any lift at speed, keeping the vest flush against the jersey for excellent aerodynamics. The Italian mesh back handles heat dissipation during sustained efforts, solving the overheating problem that makes traditional wind vests a liability on long climbs. The two-way zipper allows riders to vent without exposing their chest to wind, the PFAS-free DWR handles light moisture, and GoFresh anti-odor treatment extends the window between washes. BioViz reflective elements by 3M deliver 100-meter visibility for early morning or late-season training blocks where light fades before the ride does.
