Attack Road Cycling Shoe - Women's
Despite cycling feeling much like an every-man's sport, with its accessibility being right out the front door, the prices associated with gear can be a hard pill to swallow. Fortunately brands like Pearl Izumi aim to accommodate those of us who have a budget in mind for our annual bike spending, and its easy to see with performance-minded shoes like the Attack Road Cycling Shoes that find a balance between stiff soles to get the most out of your power, and a price tag that doesn't make your bank account shudder. The Attack Road shoes are built with a seamless upper that combines panels of perforated synthetic leather with mesh to keep ventilation a priority while supporting your foot through pedal strokes. A single L6 Boa system provides equal pressure across the instep to keep your foot snug, and allows for micro adjustments to find the perfect fit. Pearl utilizes a 1:1 Composite Power Plate at the sole of the Attack Road, offer carbon at the forefoot for stiff power as you pedal, and composite at the heel where a little bit of flex can be afforded.

Incorrect sizing chart
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
I am a size 8 in US shoe size. The sizing chart says that a US size 8 is equivalent to a size 40 in EU sizing so that is what I ordered. However, when the shoes arrived, the shoe box says it was size EU 40/US 8.5. The only reason I double checked the size listed on the box was because when I tried on the shoes, they felt too large which makes sense as they are actually 8.5, not 8.

Fantastic cycling shoes!
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
These cycling shoes are phenomenal, really comfortable and I love the Boa closure. I?d highly recommend going to a store and trying on any cycling shoe though for size reference. I?m a size 7.5 in most shoes, sometimes an 8, and needed a size 40. I use these for my indoor Schwinn IC4 and they work great. Highly recommend, they are awesome quality and worth the price.
