The Pearl Izumi Attack Road Shoes are engineered around a straightforward premise: deliver real road performance at a price that doesn't require justification. The result is a shoe that covers the key performance requirements without excess weight, unnecessary hardware, or compromises that show up on long days in the saddle.

The upper is constructed from perforated synthetic leather, bonded rather than stitched for a cleaner interior surface that reduces pressure points and hotspots across the forefoot. A BOA L6E dial governs midfoot tension with precision, allowing micro-adjustments on the fly without fumbling with straps. A set-and-forget forefoot strap adds a second adjustment zone for riders who need differentiated fit across the forefoot and midfoot. Soft TX lace guides at the toe eliminate the rigid pressure typical of traditional guides.

The 1:1 Composite Power Plate forms the structural foundation of the sole, reinforced with a carbon fiber forefoot insert that's efficient enough for performance riding, compliant enough for all-day comfort.
