Versatile!

So versatile! This bottle goes from my running skirt pocket to vest to handheld! Best of all, the spine in the bottle keeps it from flopping over.

The best in handheld hydration

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice handheld flask! Clearly superior to the hard-sided ones, though it does amusingly resemble a giant baby bottle when full. It gets smaller as there is less water inside, and being able to squeeze out the little bit of air at the start keeps it from sloshing. The bite valve is also a revelation—what have I been missing!? It is truly no-grip, with a caveat: make sure you’re using the strap as shown by the model in the pics. Sounds silly, but when I got the ExoShot I thought, how complicated could this be? Shoved my hand in any old way and headed out. Well… it got a bit uncomfortable over the course of 12 miles, and it certainly didn’t feel like no-grip—I did have to hold it up in an unnatural way that started to cramp up my hand. I was even thinking maybe it’s not for me, and going back to my hard-sided Nathan bottle. But I gave it another chance—after checking the pics to make sure I was using it properly. And um, I wasn’t… so I’m happy to say that the ExoShot was everything promised, and practically invisible this time. This is all to say, how you use the strap makes a significant difference, and there is a “right” way! Maybe a small illustration on the packaging, of a hand in the strap could help? Clearly the correct usage was obvious to most others, but I hope this might help anyone else who also thought themselves too big-brained to make sure they’re holding this thing right… maybe check to be sure :)

Great in Theory, bad in practice

I love the idea of a minimalist handheld. It works great when the bottle is empty, but not when it's full. The more weight that's in the bottle, the more it bounces and you have to grab the bottle tighter. Otherwise, it tends to loosen the elastic strap and you have to keep pulling it tighter. I think it would be easier to carry a plastic water bottle.

Perfect handheld bottle

It's by far my favorite handheld. The strap is perfection. I prefer holding soft flasks since the sloshing in structured bottles makes them feel like mini shake weights. I agree with a reviewer below that holding a cold, bare bottle can be uncomfortable depending on the weather, but I still find it better than holding the fabric covered ExoShots, which get sweaty.

Perfect

This is definitely my favorite flask. No BS, no extra bulk, collapses down and can fit in a rear zipper pocket on a run when empty. Never ever leaks, easy to clean, easy to hold, perfect size. 5 Stars, Buy 2 !

Great handheld!

Great handheld! I like the size and the collapsible nature. It is cold to the touch, which may not be ideal depending on the time of the year. However, the fact that I can slip it into my pocket when I have finished my drink, makes this bottle win the day!

Comfortable!

I have had this handheld bottle for over a year now. It's my go to hydration storage of choice because it's light easy to carry and quickly adjustable if needed. I like that I can transfer it into my hydration belts if needed. Not bulky!

ExoShot Lite 14oz Handheld Works Well

It's comfortable to carry, I like the spine in the soft flask, and 14oz is about right - not too small, not too large.
