The Allroad S Carbon Wheelset from Mavic is built around the understanding that gravel riding asks more of a wheel than either pure road or pure off-road use. The 42mm unidirectional carbon rims use Adaptive Layup technology, which tailors fiber placement to the stress profile of the rim, reinforcing where it matters and saving weight everywhere else for a reduction of up to 70 grams per rim versus a uniform layup approach. The 25mm internal width hookless profile accommodates tires from 30mm to 64mm, and the UST Tubeless Ready system is designed for a clean, reliable tubeless setup straight out of the box with rim tape pre-mounted.

The Instant Drive 360 freehub combines a contactless rubber seal for low friction with immediate power engagement, while QRM automatic bearing preload keeps cartridge bearings dialed in over the long term without manual adjustment. Stainless steel crossed-2 laced spokes front and rear balance compliance and lateral stiffness across mixed terrain.
