Racing puts riders through conditions that shift fast, a foggy neutral rollout that burns off into bright sun by the time the field splits, and the MAAP Oracle Sunglasses are built around that reality. Rather than locking a rider into a single tint, the Oracle uses an interchangeable lens system so the same pair of glasses adapts as the day changes, which matters when a mid race lens swap isn't practical but changing light is guaranteed.

The TR90 thermoplastic frame is chosen for its flex under stress, resisting cracking from crashes or pack contact in ways a rigid frame material would not, while polycarbonate lenses add impact resistance without adding weight to the front of the face. A 6 base curve wraps the lens closer to the face for a wider field of view, and hydrophobic and oleophobic coatings shed sweat and road spray so vision stays clear through the hardest efforts. The anti fog treatment addresses a common failure point in race glasses, where heavy breathing and temperature swings between climbs and descents typically cloud a lens.
