The MXZ305 Mountain Bike Shoe represents the fifth generation of Lake’s legendary winter cycling shoe line, building on a legacy that started with the MXZ300 in 1997. Designed with a Winter last, it offers extra volume in the toe box to maintain circulation and keep feet comfortable when paired with heavy socks—critical for long rides in freezing conditions.

Its premium American full-grain leather upper, paired with a German Helcor abrasion- and water-resistant toe protector, makes the MXZ305 exceptionally durable against snow, ice, and debris. Inside, an Outlast temperature-regulating liner and 200 grams of Thinsulate insulation trap warmth while wicking moisture away, ensuring that sweat doesn’t freeze against the skin. This system creates a stable microclimate inside the shoe, keeping feet dry and warm in the harshest environments.

Underfoot, the Ultra Bomb-Proof Enduro sole offers SPD cleat compatibility with a fiberglass-injected nylon platform that balances stiffness with comfort. Glass-injected tread inserts add traction on slippery surfaces, making the shoe stable whether clipped in or navigating icy hike-a-bike sections. The mid-power BOA® M4 dial closure further enhances usability, allowing precise fit adjustments with gloves on.
