Why We Like The Kuat Sherpa 2.0 Bike Rack
We like the Kuat Sherpa 2.0 because it's lightweight, easy to use, and capable of hauling just about any bike around—short of a 50-pound freeride monster. The Sherpa 2.0 supports two bikes up to 40 pounds each, and it features a foot-actuated pivot lever that we can use to unfold the rack, even with our hands full. Kuat modified the design to create a greater 14-inch space between bikes, so they both have plenty of personal space on longer trips.

Don't understand all the positive review
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Doesn't seem to hold my bike firmly no matter what I do. Lots of wobble and don't want to use for any long trips or on the highway . I prefer my $100 sportswing I bought at Walmart 20 years ago. Only positive is it looks good and color matches my black Rav,4

Nearly perfect
- Familiarity:

I bought this to replace my RockyMounts SplitRail, which perished in a rear-end accident. I really like the Sherpa aesthetically--it's compact and clean. I don't like the pivot lever at all. No matter what, it requires two hands or a hand and a foot. The SplitRail (and most Thule & Yakima racks) have an easy-to-use lever that can be used with one hand. Usually when I need to open my hatch, it's b/c I have armloads of stuff to put in there, and this requires me to put things down to pivot the rack and open the hatch. I'd call it a minor design flaw. If the the SplitRail were still available, I would've gone with that, but I'm still happy w/ this purchase overall.

Easiest to use and lightweight!

This is by far the best bike rack I've owned! Very well engineered. The box was even designed to aid in assembly! Very easy to use, very light and excellent construction. Fits all of our bikes with different frame styles. My old rack was difficult to mount bikes with square carbon tubing, and mountain bikes with sloping top tubes. This rack fits them all.

Just Buy It - You Won't Regret

I research a lot before a purchase. Sometimes to the point of analysis paralysis. After comparing this to other brands and asking other riders at an event a few weeks ago it was an easy decision.

Perfect 10

Easy to maneuver, extremely well made, secure fit. No problem w different tire sizes, seems to hold just about anything (although I do not have a fat tire bike). Wouldn't trust just any bike rack w my brand new MTB! Fully satisfied.

Just buy it&.
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
- Size Bought:
- 2" receiver
While you're sitting here reading reviews, the price of this rack may go up again. I purchased it when it was only $499. Just buy it already! It's the best bang for buck with ease of use, and super light to take off when necessary. I pretty much keep my rack on except during the winter months. I store it in the garage when not in use as it's footprint is very minimal. When bikes are loaded, it's a solid ride and feels extremely secure even when going over bumps. As long as your ratchet arm is as close to fork when securing the bike, you won't have any problems with movement. I have noticed that one of my arms has gotten a little harder to move back and forth, but it probably needs a little lubricant. Like I said, I practically leave it on most of the year. Again, it has great reviews for a reason. It's not a rack that will leave you scratching your head trying to figure out. It's easy to set up, load your bikes and off you go! Just buy it!

Great Carrier
- Familiarity:

Absolutely love this carrier. Great design, great features, easy to assemble, easy to operate, strong and sturdy. I especially like the knob feature that easily tightens the hitch inside the receiver making it rock solid. No bounce. No vibration.
