The 10mm cleat setback built into that system positions the foot further back over the axle, reducing fatigue on long descents and improving overall pedaling mechanics during sustained efforts. The Giro-designed Sensor rubber outsole provides reliable grip across flat pedal platforms, wet roots, rocky approaches, and loose dirt, giving riders confidence whether they're clipped in or scrambling on foot.
