GiroBravo Gel Glove - Men's
Item # GIR00HT
Up the miles, not the pain.
Committing to more miles in the saddle every week has its benefits, but your palms might disagree when they're calloused and aching from the increased hours on rough roads. Thankfully you don't have to beat them up just to put in the miles with the Giro Bravo Gel Glove. These gloves line your palms with soft gel padding in all of the most ache-prone parts to absorb impacts and vibrations for a more comfortable ride. The glove is cut just like the popular Bravo Gel Gloves that came before, but with a few welcome updates, like reflective finger pulls that increase low light visibility and facilitate easier removal, and a redesigned cuff with larger hook-and-loop closure. The cuff also skips out on binding material that was used in the past, creating a more streamlined fit that increases comfort against the wrist.
- Padded gloves for a soft ride through the miles
- SuperFit designed palm wraps comfortably around bars
- Clarino synthetic leather palm stands up to long rides
- Take the pain away from rough miles with gel padding
- Redesigned cuff fits streamlined to wrist
- Larger hook-and-loop closure is easy to use

Good gloves for the price
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Fit:
- True to size
Very similar to popular competitor brand of short-finger gloves that seem to be scarce as of mid-late 2020. Pads are a little on the thinner side but that's a personal preference. Finger holes feel maybe a little less flexible than some of the PI gloves, but felt fine and didn't think about them during my long ride today. For the money these are a good buy. You can get 2 pairs for around 50 bucks delivered if you add on a $2 valve core to the order to meet the $50 order threshold.

Bought these and a pair of the Giro Strate Dures, both in large, at the same time. The Bravos are noticeably thinner and fit much tighter. I'll be returning them and gladly paying an extra ten bucks for another pair of the Strate Dures.

Not sure how to describe but the ends on your fingers feel rough/tight, not a huge deal but noticeably not comfortable

Had some Monaco gloves - they were too much. These are a perfect balance, great fit if you downsize. Unfortunately I purchased the Hi-Viz Yellow or "Highlight Yellow" as Giro calls it and within the first 2 washes (I wash jersey, gloves, socks, etc. in a gentle front load quick wash with about 1 tbs soap) they were fading. They look ~ 5 years old after 3 months unfortunately. If you don't mind that, they're great gloves.

Excited to use

Gloves fit great. The seams and padding are all in the right places. They should be a great glove for the longer rides.

Nice pair of gloves. I ride casually 2 - 3 times a week and mostly on the bike path on the beach and these work just fine. I also own a pair of Pearl Izumi which has a little more padding for more rough terrain. Gloves runs a bit small but they still fit me ok just a little tight but they usually stretch out.

All day comfort at a reasonable price
- Familiarity:

- XL
Bought these (in safety yellow) to replace a worn-out pair of Pearl Izumi gel gloves, and these seem very similar. 60 hot miles with several white knuckle segments the other day and no numbness - I'm tempted to buy another couple of pairs in different colors. Re: sizing. Previous experience with this brand suggests going up at least a full size from what the chart says. I should be right on the M/L edge; these XLs are none too big.

A glove like fitting glove

After working with gearhead Matt Conn he suggested to try these Bravo Gel gloves. I am really impressed with them! Prior glove purchases resulted in thin and ill fitting pairs but not these. These are full fitting gloves, almost like a bra for your hands! Easy to remove with cool engineered finger loops.

Opening too small

Just received these Bravo gloves, in size large, which is what my hand measures (9"). The opening that's closed by the velcro strap is too small for my hand to get through - fingers fit, barely, but not thumb. Can't really wear them with thumb sticking out. Returning them. The Giro Dure Supergel glove, same size L fits OK and has much nicer padding. Keeping that one.

Great minimalist gloves
I love these gloves because they are much like gloves were in the past. Simple and not bulky. Too many gloves now are overly technical, with bulky palm pads. These are simple light and effective.
