Giordana built the Knee Warmers around brushed Super Roubaix fabric, chosen for the balance it strikes between warmth and stretch across a range of riding temperatures roughly between the mid 40s and 60 degrees. The ergonomic cut is shaped to follow muscle contours rather than a straight tube pattern, reducing the pulling and twisting that looser warmers develop over a long ride.

Four needle flat stitching controls the fabric's stretch at the seams, maintaining shape through repeated flexing at the knee joint. The Aerofix Gripper AV System anchors the warmers at top and bottom using elastic tuned for grip without creating pressure points, a detail that matters most out of the saddle on climbs or during hard efforts where warmers are prone to slipping.

These fill a specific gap in a layering system, useful exactly when full leg warmers or tights would trap too much heat, making them a practical addition to a shoulder season kit rather than a cold weather essential on their own.
