The NS SC i30 is built for riders who want race-adjacent performance with day-in, day-out reliability. Its full-carbon, hookless rim measures 30mm internal and 33mm external, hitting the modern sweet spot for 2.3–2.6in trail rubber. The 22mm rim depth keeps mass low for snappy accelerations while maintaining the vertical compliance that takes the sting out of braking bumps and square-edges without giving up the lateral stiffness you need to hold lines at speed.

A hand-built 28/28 direct-pull spoke layout distributes load evenly and resists wind-up under hard braking and E-MTB torque. At the hub, a six-pawl alloy mechanism backed by six sealed cartridge bearings (two front, four rear) delivers quick engagement and long-haul smoothness with minimal maintenance. ISO 6-bolt rotor mounts integrate cleanly with trail and enduro brake setups, and the tubeless-ready, hookless bead simplifies tire installs while improving impact resistance.
