The FSA KFX i28 carbon wheelset redefines what a cross-country race wheel can deliver. Designed with direct athlete feedback and tested at the sport’s highest level, the i28 is engineered for riders chasing podiums in XC, XCO, and marathon formats. A variable height asymmetric rim design blends lateral stiffness with vertical compliance, giving racers the ability to attack climbs while maintaining control over roots, rocks, and braking bumps.

At 28mm internal width, the hookless tubeless-ready rims are optimized for modern XC tires, providing improved sidewall support and traction. The 25mm depth ensures aerodynamic efficiency without adding unnecessary weight. PRS alloy hubs anchor the build, offering rapid engagement that translates pedal input directly into acceleration—a critical advantage in technical and sprint-heavy courses.

Each wheelset is hand-built with direct pull spokes and brass nipples, ensuring tension consistency and durability. Inside the hubs, seven sealed cartridge bearings (two front, five rear) deliver smooth rolling performance that holds up through countless training hours and race efforts.
