Techno-logic fork.

When Terralogic first came out, lots of riders loved it. But it never lived up to Fox's quality control, so it went dormant. At the time, they didn't offer up a 29er version. That is until now. So wipe your memory banks of what Terralogic used to be, and start filling them with ride data on a new Fox 32 Float 29 100 FIT Terralogic Fork. This may just be the ultimate high tech 29er fork. The best part? It actually makes the riding easier while it keeps you comfortable and efficient all at the same time. Just pedal, steer, and enjoy.

Fox's Terralogic system relies on inertia valve technology to function. Quite simply, the fork will always revert to its locked position, with the lockout threshold easily adjustable by turning a 15-position dial to access a wide range of function from quite rigid for racing on smooth courses to fully open for luxurious comfort over rough terrain. A brass weight inside the inertia valve is sensitive to bigger bumps and high speed compression events, and it moves in reaction to these forces. Terralogic's terrain sensitive valving lets the fork do the thinking, so you can just steamroll your competition -- opening the flow of fluid through the damper. At this point, the fork functions with all the bump eating competence you expect from a Fox Fork. After the fork oscillations settle down, the BrassMass returns to its stable position and the fork is locked out according to your threshold preferences.

Of course, Terralogic is big news, but another high tech bit is the Kashima Coat on the upper tubes. This coating starts with the raw aluminum stanchions and adds molybdenum disulfide via an induction process that deposits the material into pores in the surface to the effect of 70 billion pores per cm squared. The MoS2 adds lubricity, extending the life of the tubes as well as greatly reducing friction. Fox tuned the air spring for this year as well so that the F29 can be run at slightly lower pressures. It now yields a more linear feel, giving you a sensation of buttery smooth small bump response and access to the full range of travel yet you'll still get no harsh bottoming. Along with the Kashima Coat, it'll make the Float 29 Terralogic even more comfortable over chattery trails.

The FIT cartridge damper improves upon their already legendary feel by sealing the fluid inside a rubber bladder to eliminate the chance of fluid aeration and subsequent variations in the damping properties. And, because it uses less fluid, it shaves considerable weight from the Float 29 Forks. The bladder in the damper assembly minimizes friction, allows for internal fluid volume changes, and works to maintain suspension consistency when you're really giving it a workout. With the FIT Terralogic damper, you'll also have an external rebound control with a wide range of adjustment to make this fork highly tunable for a wide variety of terrain and riding styles.

The 15QR front thru-axle loses 21 grams yet retains all the stiffness that makes it such an improvement over standard quick release systems. In fact, the added shear stiffness of the 15QR improves the fork's bump eating performance because the fork legs just cannot move independently. This avoids binding of the upper legs in the bushings, further reducing friction. Take away friction and you'll have better performance and a smoother, more controlled ride. Guaranteed.

The Fox 32 Float 29 100 FIT Terralogic Fork has powdercoated White legs and crown. It has 100mm (3.9") of travel, uses a 15QR thru-axle, and comes with a 1-1/8" to 1.5" tapered steerer. The lower legs are quad-tapered to lean them out where there's room to shave weight, and at the very bottom are lightweight post-mounts for your disc brake. To make installation easy, and for a clean look, there's an integrated brake hose guide on the fork arch.

US Fox dealers are prohibited from shipping Fox Forks outside the US.
