Why We Like The Freerider Pro Cycling Shoe

Five Ten's mountain bike shoes are catered to riders who look for comfort and grip for outstanding performance on the mountain. Stepping up the game from its Freerider predecessor, the Five Ten Freerider Pro Women's Cycling Shoe boasts extra toe protection and an even faster drying, weather-resistant upper. As with the original, this shoe blends subtle styling with technological features made to shred the gnarliest of trails and let your riding skills take center stage. We like the versatility and wearability of this shoe, not to mention the all-day comfort both on and off the bike.

Five Ten's non-marking Stealth S1 dotty rubber outsole provides excellent grip to keep your feet securely on the pedals. It's also built to endure the prodding from the metal spikes on your pedals all day, meaning it'll outlast the gum rubber sole on a conventional skate shoe every time and stick better to your pedals.

Actually the only cycling shoes I will wear now!

I can’t get enough of the 5 10 collaboration! They are absolutely the best shoes for both on and off the bike and everything in between!!

Women's sizing seems accurate

Hi guys - because there is some justifiable concern here and elsewhere about sizing of these women's Freerider pro shoes, I am a woman and have reliably been a size 10 for many years. I bought a size 10 in these shoes and they fit perfectly. I read reviews of various FiveTen shoes for women that complained that the sizing was actually men's sizing, but for these shoes I can attest that - for me - the sizing was consistent with my sizing for women's shoes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second purchase of these shoes, because they are amazing. Super sticky & comfortable. Exactly what I want in a MTB shoe!

Fitted shoe with good power to the pedals.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have two pairs of 5/10 Freerider shoes, one of which is a number of years old. This is my first pair of the Pro model. It’s a much smaller, narrower shoes with a much stiffer sole than the standard Freerider. I was concerned about the sole adhering to my pedals because of the stiffness, but after a hard ride in them I think they’re better. I never “lost” my pedals. I bought my normal size, but if you’re looking for more toe room you might go up a 1/2 size. I wore them around the house, ran some errands and went for a walk in them before I rode in them because they’re pretty stiff out of the box.

Best shoes ever.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shoes are perfect for me. Great amount of stiffness versus flexibility. No foot Odin after rides.
