Dry Lube
Using 'wet' lubrication for your drivetrain in dusty, dry conditions results in caked, gummed-up chains and gears. Finish Line's Dry Lube was formulated to keep your chain running smoothly without attracting abrasive contaminants.
Dry Lube looks wet when you use it, but then quickly sets with a wax-like, synthetic film. It was created with a Teflon fluoropolymer which helps to repel moisture and therefore dust. It easily withstands rides up to 100 miles. And, even though it's designed for dry conditions, it will continue to hold up well if you're hit with a mid-ride rainstorm.
The Finish Line Dry Lube comes in a 2oz squeeze bottle and an 8oz aerosol.

Used once, now won't spray (aerosol)
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Used it once 2 months ago and went to use it today and the nozzle has completely gunked up. Removed nozzle and ran under hot water to try free it up but no joy. Past return date so I'm stuck with it and will have to buy the more expensive per ml dropper version.

As many of us know, drivetrain maintenance is a small cost now versus a large cost later. I ride in mostly dry conditions with occasional wet days, so my work is to save the need and/or cost of replacing expensive parts later. I'm a little obsessive about keeping my drivetrain where I believe it needs to be. I've been using Finish Line for a decade now and the product consistently meets my expectations for lubricating my chain. From my perspective it doesn't accumulate grime and debris that much so it is suitable for MY riding conditions. It goes on easy and comes off easy allowing me to keep everything running smoothly. It does the job so well. I will probably only change if they stop making it. Real simple thing here. Quality lube equals less wear and tear on potentially expensive parts.

My bikes like Finish Line Dry Lube BUT..

Riding on Colorado's Front Range trails, this is the right lube for me, I've been using it for years. Lately though, I've experienced a lot of non functioning aerosol sprays, where the nozzle gets gunked up and stops dispensing. Same with the bottle where nothing comes out even though the bottle is upside down, so you shake it and then it spurts half the bottle on the floor. Super annoying. I wonder if the formula's changed to make the lube thicker and as a results it emulsifies a little too much.

Different use but still amazing
I do not bike at all do for biking aspects this has no use to me. Instead I climb a lot of my climbing gets squeaky dirt dust and a lot of funk in it. When I started using it my gear has lasted way longer for climbing this is perfect and cheap.

My current choice

For conditions on the Wasatch front, (dry, fairly dusty) you really can't go wrong with finishline dry. I typically clean and lube before every ride, and it's only in the dustiest and driest of conditions that I'll have to re-lube during a ride. You won't go wrong!

Great for either post rainy ride or if you've been pushing off a tune-up and want to ride another few hundred miles...

It's a lube. It does what lube does. You need to be really careful with the aerosol so that you don't get overspray on the bike, the ground, or, god forbid, your rims. I used about half the can before the spraying mechanism broke. Pretty disappointed that I couldn't even use the entire can that I paid for.

Good n' greazy
- Familiarity:

After summer/fall commuting and then a lengthy slumber over the winter in my basement, my bike was feeling a little sluggish on my first couple spring rides. Ran my chain through a chain cleaner, lubed 'er up with this stuff, and zing! My drivetrain in happy and smooth again. Good stuff.
