Description

Now you don’t have to sell them. Or get a divorce, for that matter.

Ever tried storing a bike in an apartment? Needless to say it can be quite frustrating -- especially when you have more than one. The Feedback Sports Velo Cache Storage Rack makes life easier for those of us without garages, offering a safe, secure, and attractive way to store two bikes easily.

The Velo Cache’s black or silver anodized aluminum main column and cradles have been carefully engineered to provide years of dependable and stylish storage. At home in your living room or your garage, the Velo Cache’s free-standing, three-leg design won’t mark walls or ceilings and holds up to 80 pounds (given the bevy of affordable sub-18-pound bikes nowadays, that’s more capacity than you’ll ever need).

The Feedback Sports Velo Cache Storage Rack comes with two sets of heavy-duty steel arms with soft rubber cradles that protect your bike’s finish while holding it securely. The arms are independently adjustable and can hold bikes of all shapes, sizes, and styles -- even sloping top tubes are no problem for this stylish storage device.

  • Sturdy, anodized aluminum free-standing design is perfect for your living room—or the garage
  • Adjustable cradle arms can be independently height-adjusted to hold everything from the race bike to the cruiser
  • Three-leg base keeps it from toppling over onto the coffee table—or the car in the garage
  • Soft rubber to protect the frame finish, no more scratches trying to stack them together

  • Anodized aluminum column
  • Adjustable cradle arms accommodate a variety of bike designs
  • Soft rubber arm covers protect your frame’s finish
  • 80lb maximum load

Nice, but finicky

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I assembled this rack to hold my two bicycles. Unfortunately the instructions don't specify that one side should be higher than the other, so my bikes look a little wonky. The mounting hardware is also of poor quality, and the bolts all stripped when tightening them, and I can no longer remove them and reposition the arms.

Great product - pain to assemble.

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This is a great product, but assembly instructions were awful. I recommend it, but have someone help you when putting it together. A simple YouTube video would be great. Other than, I probably should go to church this Sunday for expletives, its an awesome space saver.

Small apartment, lots of bikes, no prob

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Small apartment, lots of bikes, no problem! I live in a 1-bdrm apartment and got this to store my bikes. It does it perfectly! It's easy to put away the bikes, the rack takes up little space, and it sits sturdily. Pretty heavy, but not a big deal.

Appears Used

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I bought this several weeks before I was going to move. When I opened it yesterday to finally put it together, the rubber holders for the bikes had dirt on them. The unit had scratches and preinstalled screws were in crooked. I assumed I was past the return window and I needed the rack so I didn't run over my bikes.

Whomever wrote the instructions did a horrible job. While it wasn't rocket science to figure it out some install areas were annoying.

So over it's nothing special. It does the job. I over paid considering the condition I received it in.

Absolutely Love It. Great investment!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I wasn't sure how the quality would be but it has a very stable base and strong sturdy supports. It looks great in our dining room (temporarily) and shows off my Cervelo S5 and Emonda SL 8 nicely. Couldn't be more pleased!

Absolutely Love It. Great investment!

Great stand, do the 4 bike expansion!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This stand is awesome. It's a great storage solution if space is tight. Since there is no contact between bikes it keeps them from getting scratched. I upgraded the capacity from 2 bikes to 4 bikes using the expansion kit, we sell it on this site. Holds my heavier downhill bike, 2 trailbikes and a road bike with ease. Installation is fairly simple. If you plan to do the 4 bike expansion check out my review on that kit, item USS0020. I advise if you're going to do the 4 bike expansion do it from the beginning. It's easier installation this way rather than actually converting the rack from 2 bike capacity to 4 bike capacity. Once installed the rack has held up well. It's nice that the cradle position is fully adjustable.

Great stand, do the 4 bike expansion!

Absolutely solid

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I was reluctant to buy something like this as it seemed like an unnecessary expense but I bought 2 of these and organized 4 bikes perfectly.

Easy to assemble, rock solid and I highly recommend.

Outstanding product

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have had my rack now for 2 years and use it to store a variety of bikes (road, tri, CX, fattie) and just love the rack.

Solid Bike Rack

This is a solid bike rack. I am able to store my offseason bikes safely out of the way. Easy to assemble. I am happy with the purchase.

    Garage saver

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This storage column is strong and relatively lightweight. It's balanced so that bikes can be added and removed without ever becoming tippy. The expansion is great--not a compromise at all and brings total storage to four bikes. Best of all, the brackets can be raised or lowered individually to accommodate all sorts of frame geometries.

why did I wait so long to get one

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

this bike rack is so nice, it saves so much room from having my bikes laying on the ground, and wherever else i could store them. not only does it make your bikes look even better hanging from it, it keeps your bikes safe from falling over or falling onto the ground!

highly recommend getting one of these!

about how far out from the wall are the...

about how far out from the wall are the bikes in this stand?

This would greatly depend on the bikes you mount. Turning front wheels greatly diminishes the space you need. Still, I would say the rack needs about 2 feet from the base if you are placing bikes with wheels facing towards the wall. I'm sure you could get even closer if you mount bikes parallel to the wall--(maybe good for seasonal storage).

    Space Saver

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I have had it a month so far and this rack is great! I also bought the expansion kit ,so it now hold 4 bikes, 1 hard tail, 1 full suspension, Trials bike and dirt jumper. I got them all to fit with a little time and I like that it is a free standing rack that is not from ceiling to floor (when garage doors are open). It feels solid and i can move it anywhere, I'm sure it will be outside for a while this summer!! I could see me getting another for all our bikes.

    Great use of space

Had four bikes taking up floor space. This product frees up more space and is easy to get around with bikes loaded...as well as very stable. For now it is holding bikes in shed...until I can sneak it past the wife into the living room.

      Garage Envy

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have 2 of these. My garage is clean, my bikes are safe, out of the way, and on display. Love your bikes. The optional basket is a plus.

      So good

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

We have a spare bedroom where we keep our exercise equipment and our bikes. Our bike (ok my bike) collection was growing and the room was getting crowded and the wife was unhappy. I combined this with the 2 bike extension and BAM, 4 bikes in the place of one. It also gives you a great place to put all of your stickers from all the races you do. My rack has two CX bikes, one 29er and one road bike and it is very sturdy. I am huge so my bikes are all XL's, or 61-63's and I can still fit them all on the rack. For normal sized people you won't have any issues. I highly recommend this rack and I hope I can talk my wife into a few more bikes so I can buy another one.

Feedback Sports Velo Cache 2 Bike Storage Column

It's a bike rack. It was easy to put together and seems well constructed and sturdy. The adjustable holders make it easy to personalize to your height and bikes. A great solution for storing multiple bikes in small spaces.
