The HEX draws on nano-particle-enhanced rubber developed for ENVE's road tires and translates it into a gravel-specific compound that reduces rolling resistance while holding grip through braking and cornering. A sub-tread puncture barrier keeps weight in check without dulling the ride, and the extended chafer strip at the bead adds a meaningful layer of pinch-flat protection when pressures drop on rough terrain.
