Why We Like The Endura MT500 MIPS Helmet
Building on the winning formula of its predecessor, the Endura MT500 MIPS Helmet brings us increased coverage, added safety from MIPS technology, and cool comfort when things heat up on the trail. It boasts a full Koroyd core for exceptional impact absorption without extra bulk weighing us down, along with a MIPS Brain Protection System that works to reduce rotational impact forces in the event of a crash. We also appreciate the micro-adjust fit system that's easy to operate one-handed and the goggle-friendly design with rear strap grippers and front vents that act as a sunglasses dock.

Great helmet!

I love everything about this helmet. The shape and fit is super comfortable and the ratchet strap makes for an easy perfect fit. The mount on top for lights and gopros is also very clutch and has made night riding a lot more accessible. The venting and the visor are also well constructed and well thought out. Overall, 5 stars on the MT500. I would recommend this for anyone looking for a perfect trail helmet!

Great Helmet

As someone who runs hot and sweats too much no matter how minimal I dress, helmets have been a necessary evil in my experience. So to start out I'll comment on how great the ventilation is. The padding itself doesn't seem to trap much heat either. I rode in Phoenix last week when temps were approaching 100 and it vented great. The adjustments allow for more precision when dialing in the fit. I was hesitant on which size to go with since my head is about 59cm around. I chose the M/L but I think if I did it over again I would size up. The "Y" in the chin straps barely fit below my ears and I believe a size larger would fix that issue. Regardless, everything else about the helmet is fantastic!

Really impressed with the quality and comfort from Endura with the new MT500. The retention system is easily adjustable on the fly. It also has three different height adjustments to dial in the fit for a variety of people. I am a huge fan of the padding in this helmet, it is some of the best I've seen/felt! I was hesitant about how the 3D Koroyd might impact ventilation. To my surprise, the helmet vents extremely well. Over all, I am a huge fan - I grab this helmet without hesitation anytime I leave my garage for a trail ride!

My New Daily Helmet.

Couldn't ask for a better fit! I have a dead on 54.5cm slightly oval noggin and the Endura MT500 in a S-M fits without having to squish my head in, or size up to a medium. The Visor is one of the burliest designs I have seen in a minute, very firm clicks moving it up or down and it holds its place. Helmet still looks clean with the visor removed. The micro adjust dial in the back gives me every bit of fine tuning I could want. Ventilation is on point, and the helmet feels bombproof while still being lightweight with the full Koroyd construction (thoroughly tested it on some low lying branches that jumped out in the trail) One of the best bits would have to be the included Gopro/ light mount. It's one of the sturdiest solutions I have seen to mounting a device on a helmet, and super unobtrusive. I leave mine on even when I'm not using it, the mount may or may not have also caught that aforementioned branch hard with no visible effect. I own a helmet or two, or six, and this is currently my favorite for hitting the trail.
