When winter settles in, but our training schedule does not, the Craft Active Extreme X Balaclava gives us full-face coverage that is tuned for speed, not bulk. The thin, elastic shell is built from SEAQUAL eco-friendly polyester, upcycled from marine plastic waste to reduce impact while providing the soft hand and quick-drying performance we want next to skin. Coolmax Air Technology fibers feature a propeller-shaped cross-section that increases surface area, boosting both moisture transport and thermoregulation so our body can maintain its working temperature through changing efforts and conditions.

The fabric is channel knitted to move sweat rapidly from the inside to the outside, a structure that keeps airflow moving when we are breathing hard and prevents the chill that comes from trapped moisture. Flatlock seams minimize hotspots under helmet straps and goggle bands, and the tight, ergonomic fit maintains full coverage as we shoulder-check on the bike or tuck into an aero position on skis. With a comfort window spanning roughly -5°C to +10°C and an activity rating of 5 out of 5, it is tuned for high-output days where breathability matters just as much as warmth.
