Castelli built this jacket from a microfiber 20 denier nylon fabric that reads as essentially windproof while still delivering engineered Ristretto-level air permeability, a combination that avoids the clammy buildup typical of fully sealed shells. The ergonomic cut is tuned for a perfect fit that holds through a full range of riding positions without bunching or gapping.

A high collar seals out drafts at the neck on cold rollouts, while a top- and bottom-opening zipper with a branded Castelli scorpion puller gives fast control over venting as the ride warms up. Elasticated cuffs and waist lock in a clean silhouette and secure fit, and a reflective Castelli wordmark and scorpion logo on the back adds a layer of low light visibility for early departures.
