Castelli built this warmer from a 78% polyester, 15% nylon, 7% Lycra® blend, tuned to feel surprisingly warm without trapping heat once effort ramps up. The fully seamless construction removes the pressure points and bulk typical of stitched warmers, which matters most under a tight-fitting bib short.

Versatility is the real function here. Pulled fully up, it works as a knee warmer; folded down to sit just above the bibshort leg gripper, it converts to a leg warmer instead, covering a wide temperature range with one piece of kit. It also folds down extra small, making it an easy addition to any jersey pocket without eating into storage meant for food or tools.
