Castelli built this jacket around the 219g Polartec® AirCore fabric, an electrospun, semi-air-permeable membrane that adjusts to output rather than working against it. The harder we push, the more the fabric flows air, then closes back down once the effort drops and the descent chill sets in.

Chameleon taped shoulder seams guard the areas most exposed to road spray, while the top and bottom opening YKK® Vislon® zipper stays covered for added wind and rain defense. Three rear pockets with drain holes and a longer drop tail with a reflective stripe round out a build focused on wet, cold-adjacent conditions rather than dry-day comfort alone.
