The Castelli Perfetto 2 Vest is built around Ristretto Lite fabric, developed in partnership with fabric innovator ITTTAI to combine advanced stretch, breathability, and water protection through a dedicated membrane and lamination process. The front panel delivers targeted wind and light water protection for exposed sections of a ride, while a stretch woven back panel prioritizes breathability during sustained efforts, preventing the overheating common in fully sealed vests. A top- and bottom-opening YKK Vislon zipper allows for on-the-fly ventilation adjustments, and three lie-flat pockets with an internal security lip provide secure storage without added bulk. Best suited to cool, variable rides where wind exposure up front and heat management from behind both need to be addressed by a single piece.
