Valuable.

Looking to its pro-level pieces for inspiration, Castelli created its Entrata 2 Jersey as a hardworking, everyday addition to your wardrobe with a versatile aesthetic that promises to remain relevant in subsequent seasons. By not overloading the Entrata 2 with a host of pricy, hyper-specialized details, Castelli managed to add an affordable jersey to its line that straddles everything from training rides to centuries and even race day.

Castelli's Prosecco 3D fabric makes up the main body of the jersey. Prosecco 3D manages to remain both extremely breathable as well as resistant to moisture due to its 3D structure, which creates space between the fabric and your skin while increasing the material's effective surface area. This allows for improved airflow and rapid moisture transfer away from the skin as you sweat. With this construction, you'll avoid dealing with damp, clingy fabric in humid conditions, and with the Prosecco hydrophilic treatment, rain and water will spread over a wider area of the jersey, eliminating heavily concentrated areas and encouraging the water to evaporate more quickly.

Enhancing the functionality of Prosecco 3D, Castelli designed the Entrata 2 with mesh side panels and stretch panels at the shoulders and arm openings to improve the fit of the jersey as you move around in the saddle. The Entrata also notably features raw-cut arm bands for added flexibility and less likelihood of chafing. We're seeing raw-cut hemlines appearing throughout a host of cycling apparel, but in many case only in top-tier, $200 jerseys, so we applaud their inclusion on the more affordable Entrata 2. As final touches, the Entrata 2 is treated with a full-length zipper, reflective trim for added visibility, and the standard three rear pockets for storing your ride essentials.

  • Three rear pockets
  • Full-length front zipper
  • Reflective trim at hem
  • Mesh side panels and shoulder stretch zones

Just the best jersey ever!!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Large

I've been riding for quite a while, and have had tons of jerseys. This one is the best! It is well constructed of top quality materials that are comfortable, breathe, and wick moisture well. It is aero and fits tight, almost like a race cut, so slender people are likely to be happiest with it. On top of that, the price is a bargain.

Great Jersey

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Love these jerseys. I have 5. The XLs fit me comfortably when I weighed 188. Now I’m down to 180 and the L is a perfect snug race fit.

Castelli Entrata 2 Full-Zip Jersey

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

Bought this for my cousin. He said it fit him perfectly - he's tall and pretty lean.
Perfect for summer riding and has great moisture-wicking ability but will need an underlayer for colder temperatures. Would have liked a zipper pocket somewhere on the jersey.

Unanswered Question

Is this jersey good for riding in hot weather? I need jerseys that are suitable for hot weather, please let me know what models for hot weather riding? Thanks

Best Deal In the House

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: XXL

I ordered this jersey with a bit of hesitation due to some of the reviews regarding fit. I tried it out immediately after it arrived. This jersey is one of the best purchases I have ever made. Fits and feels great. I'm 5'9, 182 lbs and I bought XXL. Not too tight around the mid section and covers the waist regardless of riding position. Thanks to Neal and the gang at CC for recommendations!

Thin, cool, and comfortable

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Medium

I bought this because it was one of the lower cost jerseys but when I wear it it feels really nice. I have also gotten a couple of compliments on the color being visible and how it looks. I don't think it will keep me warm when it gets a bit cooler and it will need an under layer, but in the summer heat it's very nice.

Good Value Jersey

Good fit but is a bit looser than other Castelli jerseys. Yellow Fluro is bright for good road visibility. Pockets are a bit high but not a deal breaker.

Weird fit

  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: xxl

I have several Castelli jerseys and none of them have this weird fit issue of this piece of kit. The front is too short. It just fits weird. Like the sleeves and the finish of the fabric. Now my Giordana FRC bib shorts do have a somewhat low "waist" to them which is great for "natural breaks" but off the bike with some movement there can be a gap between the bottom of this jersey and the top of the bibhort. I don't have that issue with any other castelli, giordana, or craft jersey I have.

I Paid How Much...

Nice Jersey out of the package, used for a quick gravel road ride. Washed according to instructions noticed pilling on the arms and back. Did another ride this evening, threw it in the wash again and even more pilling. I know its not ultra high end but some of my 30$ jerseys haven't pilled ..

Good Summer Jersey

  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Medium

My old jerseys were falling apart, so I went sniffing around for a new jersey and saw this one as part of the TDF sale. I've always had pretty luck with Castelli, so I started there. In inland NorCal, it gets hot, so I needed a super light summer jersey. My deal is is that I also don't like sleeves and don't mind looking like a Fred and going sleeveless, so the sleeves have to not bug me. This jersey fits the bill - lightweight, breathable, full zip, and good sleeves that don't bunch...and I don't look like a Fred.

could be better

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs small

its ok, its just that zipper has a mind of its own, after 3 rides, fits ok but thought moisture wicking was better than an average jersey.

Very Nice - But not durable

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

I own a few Castelli pieces and I've been happy with them all. The fabric has a nice feel to it, and I like the raw-cut arm bands. Castelli stuff does fit snug, so you need to figure out if it works for you. I got this jersey in the same large I always get and it fits great. Some of the reviews mentioned the high pockets, but I think that makes them a little deeper than other jerserys, which helps my big phone fit in it.
The one thing I wish it had was a small zipper pocket, but other than that, it's great. Especially considering the price.

EDIT: Dropped it to 3 stars due to durability issues. After a few months of occasional wearing/washing it's developed pilling, and threads are pulling out. A little disappointing that it didn't last a whole season.

Sweet Jersey! (But runs small)

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: XL

Love the look, fabric, and feel of this Castelli! Unfortunately, it runs even smaller than cautionary small. I where size L jerserys. I ordered an XL and am returning it for a XXL. I've never worn a 2XL in my life. Oh well, there's always a first time. Onward & Outwards! Got to have this jersey!

Great fabrics - Just be careful w. sizes

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Indeed great fabrics great color (I bought the surf blue one). I always come back to Castelli products, they are very reliable with good quality/price ratios, but one thing you need to consider when buying Castelli products is that they almost always run small compared to your regular fit. My built: 5'9'', 160 lbs, chest ~102'' (Medium), but I bought the XL jersey which fits quite nicely: not too tight around my chest and not too loose on my waist area. There are no zippered pockets just your regular 3 pockets, they are quite big so no problem in storing your Iphone of compact pumps. Things that I don't love as much: the front zipper color, it's all white, I would've loved to see it in another color, maybe blue

Not as small as other Castelli jerseys

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

This lightweight jersey made in El Salvador runs not as

Yes, I agree. I own a lot of Castelli gear. This is a great jersery. And it does not run quite as small as most Castelli tops (especially the racy Rosso Corsa tops). Order your normal street size. Order up if you are on the fence size wise.

Favorite summer jersey

Castelli fit works well for me and this one has a preferred style. Pockets are where they should be. Purchased red, black and blue models.

Hey, this jersey is shown in your Facebook side panel ad as $59.96 but on the actual website it's $79.95. Thought I would try one but not when the price is higher than advertised!

Love how it looks

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: Runs small

I bought this jersey hoping that I was able to find one that fits me well. Typically I got jerseys that the sleeves fits well with my arms, but they were too small in the chest. Or the opposite, they fit me well but the sleeves were too big, and this one did the job.

I just use it this weekend, and I think it looks great. My ride has like 3 different weather stations and for hot and cold weather it feels great. The material in the sleeves it is like pretty soft, but I like it. Sadly, I got hit by a car and one of the sleeves was ruined.

Here is a picture of the jersey (before the crash).

Love how it looks

Pockets are too high

  • Fit: Runs small

Yes it runs a small but don't bother me as much as the rear pocket's are too far up especially if you're not as flexible as smaller cyclist.
