Castelli uses a synthetic palm with medium-density foam padding to absorb vibration from chipseal and rough pavement, while a silicone grip pattern ensures confident control in aggressive riding positions. At the heart of the palm, the Castelli Damping System (CDS) reinforces the area around the median nerve to help reduce fatigue and numbness during long hours on the bike.
