Raw aluminum poor - Valve is Great
- I've used it several times
The valve is great, which is why I ended up getting an insulated bottle. Great flow, got used to it pretty quick, and so far easy to keep clean. Only got water up my nose a few times. overall 5 stars on the valve design for now. The raw aluminum doesn't insulate at all. If there's sun out and it's a warm day, the bottle will heat up the water super fast. If it's a hot day, you might as well make tea or hot chocolate with the water, cause it gets hot. Simply said, don't expect this bottle to keep anything warm or cold. I should have known better myself, but still was surprised at how thin the bottle was. Oh well. Save yourself the trouble, and get the insulated version.
