Why We Built The Backcountry Empire Enduro Pant
"For as burly as these pants are, they still give me that full range of motion I need for singletrack."—Gearhead® Expert Jesse
Backcountry’s Empire Enduro Pant is built to provide full freedom of movement, protection, and ultimate comfort as we spend the day ripping up the singletrack. The 4-way stretch fabric moves with us as we move in and out of the saddle, while the highly abrasion-resistant panels on the knee and sides provide extra protection against rocks and branches. We added a PFC-free DWR treatment and laser-cut inner thigh and back knee vents to keep us dry and cool.

Great Fit & Knee Pad Integration
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
These pants are pretty rad, I love the side zips for knee pad integration as I can get my pads on and off without taking my pants off. The whole pant design is really durable and the vents are also nice for long rides. New favorite pants for sure! Will be great for the bike park this year. I'm 6'4" 215lb and the size large pants fit me well even with big DH knee pads underneath.

Size up
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
Hello all, I just got these in large and there is no room for knee pads. Otherwise these pants seem pretty great but be sure to keep your knee pads in mind before you purchase.
