WOW comfortable

I am 63 and love to ride long distances, 60-100 miles. Thats my idea of long distance. I would get numb in areas that made riding a distraction. But with these bibs I feel like I'm sitting on my couch. Absolutely amazing. Now a small downside. They feel pretty bulky in the padding area, especially in the butt. BUT, you will forget and forgive because you will be so comfortable. They are not cheap, but they are more comfortable than sitting on cheap ones and having an extra $100 around. Now hopefully they hold up for a long time.

I've been wearing Assos bib shorts for over 25 years. While expensive, for me they are well worth it and I can almost always purchase them when they go on sale, which is not very often. I recently purchased the Mille GTO C2 long, which are perfect for my style of riding. I'm 5'9", 160 lbs, and the medium fit just right, as recommended by the Assos sizing guide. This is the first pair I have gotten without the mesh back, and I really like them. They're so comfortable I forget I even have them on. It's too early to comment on their durability, but all previous Assos shorts I have purchased have held up very well.

Assos doesn't stand behind its products

Paid $350 for these shorts. Wore them for two seasons. Fewer than 1,000 miles per season on the shorts. The front seam below the belly then came apart. Assos and the vendor say it is no longer under warranty and cannot be repaired. The best they can offer is $50 off a full priced replacement. I’ve been wearing Assos bibs exclusively for over 15 years. This is not the quality of product or level of service I expect. I will think twice before purchasing another Assos product.

Perfect bibs--no more misery

This is my third pair of Mille GTO C2 Longs. Prior to these bibs, almost every ride over 30 miles resulted in abrasion wounds in crotch area. This is despite trying several different high priced bibs, gobs of chamois creme, and a few different saddles. I know I have sensitive skin, but was depressing. Then I read an article about a rider who tried these bibs. He described a situation similar to mine and said these bibs took care of the problem. I tried them and I am a happy camper. I have never had an abrasion sore since, even on my century rides which I do every month. Not even the hottest days have been an issue. It probably has to do with the floating chamois changing the friction dynamics, but whatever it is I am happy to pay the extra $$ for them. I still use chamois creme, but these bibs have been a game changer for me. As a bonus, I am tall so the long version allows me to look a bit less goofy in bibs. 6'4", 182lbs.

Best bib shorts I've ever worn

I have owned many brands of bib shorts over the years and Giordana FR-C Pro was my favorite for the last 3 years. The legs and straps were starting to lose elasticity so I splurged and bought the Assos Mille GTO C2 Long. I am 6'1"/138 lbs. and size L fits like a glove. I definitely appreciate the slightly longer legs. The chamois is hands down the most comfortable I've ever ridden with... perfect for long days on the bike. This is the most expensive piece of kit I've ever purchased but my undercarriage certainly appreciates it!

Prefect bib

I’ve worn this just about every day for a couple of months. My rides are rarely more than 20 to 30 miles, but in the past I have started to notice and be bothered by other bibs in the past. These I completely forget I’m wearing. I’ve ridden with them in temperatures ranging from about 40 to 85 degF. If riding in cooler weather, I may put something on my knees, but I don’t think I’d feel the need to have a warmer bib unless it became severely cold and windy or wet. I know these are expensive and hesitated at first, but I have no regrets whatsoever. They probably saved me buying two or three other pairs I wouldn’t have liked as much.

Performance and comfort at a price.

Wearing these is like riding around with the best Swiss masseuses, all applying the right amount of compression to keep you riding longer. Top sheet of the chamois inspired enough confidence to ride sans butter. The flammeD?Or version look pretty rad to boot. Assos? size-finding tool was spot on for me. I?m 6-foot, 190-pounds and Large fits perfectly. As these were a late-season buy for me, I can only assume they?d do well in summer heat. Judging by the thin dusting of salt from sweat evaporated on their surface even in October, I?d say they perform well to get sweat away from your skin and out in the air. My only gripe is the thick, pillowy feeling of the chamois. It works exceptionally well; and externally, it doesn?t appear to be the thickness that it feels. I?ve grown accustomed to the thinner chamois of others.

Just what you would expect to get from Assos& Premium and attention to detail. These bib shorts are fantastic. I couldn't ask for more from a bib short that replaced the Cento.
