The Assos Equipe RS Alleycat Shell Jacket S11 splits its construction into three zones instead of running one fabric across the whole garment. Diamond ULTRA softshell sits at the chest, shoulders, and upper back as the primary windproof and waterproof barrier, while 575CX at the lower sleeves and an ultralight MIG panel at the stomach and lower back reduce bulk and add stretch where the AEPD 11 racing fit needs to move. The S11 generation reorients every seam against the previous version's pattern, and the eco-conscious DWR finish adds water repellency without the weight of a heavier coating.
