Why We Like The Abbey Bike Tools Lever Setter

Working in conjunction with hanger alignment gauges, the Abbey Bike Tools Lever Setter is what we use to set brake and shifter levers at the same height from side to side. The tool temporarily replaces the headset top cap and allows us to thread said hanger alignment gauge into the lever setter, which we then use to set levers the same from one side of the bar to the other. We count on it to eliminate variables in our bike fit, as well as balance the variations in bends that metal bars sometimes have from one side to the other. After we're satisfied with the lever placement, we simply remove the tool, replace our headset top cap, and go ride.

Didn't work on all my expander plugs....

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

the Cannondale Scalpel SE. But I guess I shouldn't be surprised, lol. Not huge since the mtb is much easier to get symmetry. When it does fit, it makes the job 10 x easier and faster! I would buy it again. Also, for some reason, the shipping was painfully slow.
