The angular, staggered knobs are sure to bite when you want them to. The center knobs have a lower profile for reduced tread squirm when you're upright and monster-truckin’ along at speed. This ensures a fast-rolling tire. When conditions get dicey and you lay the tire over into a loose corner, the progressively taller transition and shoulder knobs dig in, getting you around the bend without fail. The Race designation speaks of the lightweight 60tpi casing. The DNA tread rubber has a 60a durometer to keep you stuck to the trail.

The WTB Wolverine 29 Race tire is ideal for most conditions -- everything from hardpack to loose and dry to moist, but it doesn't have a taste for mud. It's available in 29 x 2.2". Its GMS dimension is 54/52. It is a folding tire with an aramid bead. 650 grams.
