TRPSlotted Disc Brake Rotor

Slotted Disc Brake Rotor
Riding does a number on braking surfaces, especially when you're rolling across trail sections caked with thick mud, scattered with bone-dry moon dust, and soaked with melting snow and trickling alpine streams. Designed with these trail surfaces in mind, the TPR Slotted Disc Brake Rotor removes kicked-up dirt, caked mud, and flinging moisture with six recessed slots that actively clean the rotor with every use of the brakes. Not only do these slots reduce dirt and moisture build-up, but they actively disperse heat in the same manner you'd experience with aftermarket slotted rotors on exotic sports cars designed for racing purposes. Less heat equates to more powerful and consistent stopping force, even on sustained descents where you tend to cook your brakes over thousands of feet.- Slotted disc rotors for powerful and consistent stopping
- Slots clean away dirt and moisture when brakes are applied
- Slots dissipate heat build-up for consistent braking power
- Attaches to hubs with 6-bolt disc brake attachment
- Compatible with hydraulic and mechanical disc brakes

Feels like they're always slippery.

Why do you sell these? They don't work well. How can I buy the standard 14's????

More sturdy than TRPs lower end offering

I replaced my TRP-14 rotors with these as the lower grade model would warp slightly on heavy braking. These seem to fix that. They look pretty cool, are quiet, and may even provide some of the marketing benefits outlined in the description. Only complaint is that they are heavy (35 grams more than a comparable shimano rotor)

Luckily I don't have the issues my friend Trent does with the sound, but if you watch any of his YouTube videos you will hear what he means. The thing I was a bit upset about was the rotors came a tiny bit bent out of the packaging and so I needed to do a bit of love to them to keep them from rubbing. Still haven't got them fully dialed, but as Trent said. They stop great!!!

Stops good, sounds bad
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
It's a great stopping rotor and works great. But its a little flimsy so it makes noise like a spoke is loose when you hit bumps. Annoying but not a deal breaker
