Fast-rolling, grippy, and with a balanced tread pattern, the Specialized Eliminator Grid TRAIL 2Bliss T9 29in Tire is a go-to choice on many bikes in the Herd. The GRID TRAIL casing is more protective than the previous iteration of the GRID casing, and has a 60 TPI casing with additional bead-to-bead protection from punctures. T9 grips like a sticky trap

Used on the rear with Butcher front. This T9 compound may not be the fastest rolling tire or the longest lasting, but my lord, these are STICKY! I replaced Maxxis Recons with these. Recons are a good tire, but I needed something much more aggressive on the trails I ride. The price was right too. Sooooo glad I did. I also love the fact that if I want something harder, I just buy the T7 or T5 in the same tread. Easy peazy.

Spesh Ups the Tire Game

Love the Eliminator as a rear tire. Was not a fan of Specialized tires until the T9 compound made it's appearance. My new go to combo is the Butcher T9 up front with this Eliminator on the rear. If you want a set of tires rivaling any Maxxis set-up but for less, start with these and the Butchers in the T9.
