Why We Like The Pioggerella Shoecover
The Castelli Pioggerella Shoecover keeps raindrops out of our road cycling shoes in mild-to-cool conditions. Its stretchy fabric has a PU coating for reliable waterproofing, and the zipper is waterproof to solidify overall protection. The silicone bead up top keeps water from seeping into our socks, too.

Don't waste your money.
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
Like someone else said they wet out in LITERALLY 20 minutes. What a shame, wish i never wasted my money on this garbage, their stuff is usually great but not these shoe covers.

Laughable Sizing
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- Size Bought:
- 2XL
- Weight:
- 190
Good luck getting this product in any configuration that will fit you. My wife and I ordered three sizes between us, hoping one would work. For me 2XL was the only choice but even that was too small to fit my lower calf, and I'm not that big a guy. The only way my wife could get the overshoe to fully zip was by pushing the cuff down every time she managed to zip it an inch at a time, essentially needing to bunch most of the top around her upper ankle. The sizing is comically poor. I usually love Castelli products but buyer beware here. Feel bad about burning more diesel fuel to return these rejects but no way would these ever work for us.

Completely Useless
Got soaked through in a moderate summer rain during a 20 min ride. Ridiculous. An abomination for a premium brand such as Castelli to make such an inefficient and worthless piece of kit for a relatively high price tag. I trashed them as I saw no use of them. No kidding.
