Saddle up in style.

The Yeti Cycles Avery Shorts for Women bring a whole new level of style to your mountain kit, with sleek lines, and sublimated graphics that add just a touch of flair to your getup. With light polyester construction, you can count on them to perform just as hard as the less-style packed options, wicking away sweat as you hammer up the trail, and moving with you when you weave your way through rooty treelines on the descent. They feature glide leg patches that prevent the hem from creeping up while you're pedaling, and a waist that locks into place with pull-to-fit elastic. Two hand pockets make these shorts pass for casual summer days when you're setting up a backyard bar-be-cue, and a zippered side cargo pocket keeps things secure so you don't have to stress about your keys and phone on the trail.

  • Elevated style that performs with the best of them
  • 12-inch inseam gives you the coverage you want on trail
  • Lightweight polyester breathes and moves with you
  • Sublimated graphics add style and won't fade with time
  • Glide patch at hem makes for smooth pedal strokes
  • Secure your waist in place with pull-to-fit adjustment
  • Side cargo pocket zips in your phone and keys for safe keeping
  • Casual-style hand pockets helps these shorts pass at summer grill-offs

You Won't Regret It

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

Yeti continues to prove that they're the best in the business when it comes to making super rad, super comfortable biking shorts. They continue to manage to make some of the most comfortable and stylish shorts while maintaining durability and great pricing.

Yeti makes the best shorts, period

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Size Bought: Small

This is my 4th pair of Yeti shorts (1st of this model). They seem to struggle with consistent sizing. But once you get the right size, the cut is always spot on. The legs are trim and don't get hung up on your seat. Waist is large enough to sit at the hip and not muffin-top you. These shorts are a lighter material than the Norries, which will be great for hot days. I really love them. Got black, but wish storm would come back!

Major style points + comfortable too

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I was really happy to find these with great reviews about quality + comfort and also great style! I pulled them out of my mailbox on my way to the trail today and as soon as I put them on, I knew they were keepers. They're my first real mountain bike short. I sized up to a medium based on another review - even though I'm trim and wear a 26/27 pant. I'm happy I did because they're just right once I add chamois underneath and I can adjust the waist a little with the pulls. They do look really large when I'm not on my bike... and very baggy without chamois...but the whole point is comfort and function on my bike. Also happy to have an accessible phone pocket - total upgrade from sticking it in my sports bra before!!

Runs small

I ordered a large. 5'8 175 lb and large quads. The material does not stretch well. The lower portion of my quads on every upstroke was uncomfortable due to lack of room in the leg area. They were super cute, but order a size up to prevent quad strangulation. I had to return them.

Super cute

Cute and comfortable. I was afraid that the light blue color would be really light but it’s darker in person. Really hope they restock the storm color

Thanks for the review, Ernestine! Sometimes the colors look different in person so thanks for letting everyone know about that shade of blue. It looks like we have some more of the storm colored shorts on order and they should be arriving anytime. So keep your eyes peeled!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

These shorts are so great, I cant stop wearing them and have been ignoring all other shorts in my closet. The material is so comfortable, pattern and cut is flattering, and the pockets are on point! I want a pair in every color!

I love these shorts. I recently got into mountain biking and wasn't really sure what shorts I needed. After some research I came across the Yeti Cycles Avery Short, and they are my go - to biking shorts now! The length is great -- it's long enough to protect the upper thigh from the seat of the bike and other elements, but short enough to also let your legs breathe.

The waist of the shorts are really comfortable as well -- just enough stretch to give you wiggle room when you're ascending steep climbs, but not so roomy that they fall down. There are also waist adjustment tabs if they do happen to be a little big.

You can wear these with or without a chamois/liner (they don't come with one, so it would have to be a separate liner).

I also love the look of these shorts -- they are sporty but casual enough to wear off the trail when you're done riding for the day.

I'm really stoked on these shorts -- if you're looking for a casual performance short with some style and a ton of comfort/durability, the Yeti Cycles Avery Short is a great option!

Here's a photo of them after I took a nice over-the-handlebars-fall in Fruita, Colorado. They lived to tell the tale!
