NOT for all frames
Pretty ridiculous that it's not stated anywhere that this rack does not work for a woman's mountain bike with rear shocks. Adapters exist and there's no information here about it. $300 and I need to spend more in order to use it for a very commonly shaped bike frame.

If you look at the picture, then think about how your bike will fit on, you may be able to figure out if this rack will work. This is common to all "top tube" bike racks and in no way reflects the quality of this rack. There are dozens of other "top tube" racks out there that will have this similarly perplexing complexity to some.

- I've put it through the wringer
I originally tried to get a extension on my hitch. With newer mountain bikes it can be tricky to get more than one on there safely and I think trays are the way to go. Unfortunately, even with the extension I could only get one bike on there so I ended up settling on this. I didn't have issues fitting to my stock tire and wheel and it is plenty secure but is not much space for two bikes. It fits them but it takes some wrestling, ah well. It's not pretty but it gets the job done.

Needs a better description
I'm aggravated with Yakima racks right now. This rack said it would work with a tire up to 12.5" wide. My tires are 10.5" wide. The rack should mount with no issues, correct? Wrong! There was nothing in the instructions about any particular back spacing... my bike rack won't fit on the tire now! Hahahaha just my luck. The description needs to state the proper tire width and back spacing of the wheel. If you have 35x10.5 tires with after market wheels (steel wheels and yes even the stupid poser wheels) this rack will not work unless Yakima makes a longer adapter.
