These Swiftwick Aspire Zero Socks are the shortest socks we offer. If you hate the tall sock craze, these are the antithesis. The cuff will ride right at the top of your shoe, and you won't have any funky mid-calf dirt lines.

The Aspire Socks are created by a 200-needle machine process that yields a high density, seamless knit fabric. The process allows variability in the finished knit of the socks, as different parts meet different performance requirements. For example, the cushioned footbed gives way to the thin channeled upper -- both components playing a crucial role to increase your comfort. When you slip into a pair of Aspire Socks, you'll immediately feel that they're tailored for your feet. The arch band offers snug support in the midfoot, and the Y-shaped heel contour assures no bunching or overstretched feeling in the back.

The dense nature of the material all but guarantees durability when combined with the abrasion resistant properties of Olefin, one of the prime components of the foot of the sock. Olefin is a lightweight polypropylene fiber that Swiftwick sources from US manufacturers. Then the socks are created in Tennessee in Swiftwick's own factory, where they can oversee every step of the process to ensure tight quality control. The Olefin wicks like crazy to keep your feet dry, but removing moisture from your skin is only half the story. Olefin is also hydrophobic and will not absorb water, so the moisture transfer is complete all the way to the outside of the sock. You'll stay dry, comfortable, and blister free since the socks move with your feet and minimize (or eliminate) abrasion against your skin.

Several knitting patterns in the footbed and cuff give the Aspire sock a compression nature which promotes blood flow in the feet, improving flow throughout the lower legs. And as you might guess, improved vascular performance means reduced fatigue and speedier recovery. The Swiftwick Aspire Zero Socks are available in Black, Grey, and White and come in four sizes from Small to X-Large. It's worth noting that the fibers used in Swiftwick socks are colored during their creation. In comparison to socks that are dyed after knitting, this makes Swiftwick socks stronger and more durable.

Best cycling socks I've ever owned!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Medium

Seriously, best cycling socks I've ever worn. Breath really nice, and the medium size fits my foot like a glove. Made in the USA is just icing on the cake. You might be hesitant by the price tag, but once you try them on you will know why they cost as much. I ordered several pairs in different styles for both road and mountain biking.

My all time favorite socks.

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These are seriously my favorite socks. I also seemed to have turned my wife into a sock snob. They are perfect for running and never really stretch out. Its like putting on a new pair of socks every time. The colors are also a nice addition to help keep the families sock inventory separated when doing laundry. Mine seem to generally last about 3 years of rotations before they wear a hole by the top of my big toe. I would say that is pretty reasonable longevity.

Great fit, snug, breathable

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

These socks are perfect. Worth a 10 star review!

Loved them but Lasted only 4-5 months

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I loved the way these socks fit and felt. I used them to play golf for one season in Texas before the elastic in all three pair was shot. Very disappointed.

Love em

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've got a whole mess of these socks, love em. The fit is snug, but not too tight. Breathes really well and the elastic band doesn't get stretched to the point of being un-wearbale over time.

Comfortable, Durable

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Swiftwick socks are great. I have so many of these for different uses, be it casual, athletic, or otherwise, and they never fail me. That is until I use them too much, and they fall apart. But I'm OK with that, because it's gonna be years from now. Love them.

  • Fit: True to size

I have not used these socks as long as some of the other reviewers but I tend to wear out the heel on my socks and these are holding up very well. The synthetic materials used keep my feet very dry.

My feet

are a little less sweaty now, or at least I fell it less. Ive been slowly upgrading my socks from just regular cotton to performance and I like these the best so far

    These socks are the BEST!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Large

These socks are by far the best socks that I have used. I used to have issues with blistering while long distant running, but these have solved that problem. They are very durable too. My last bundle of running socks lasted around 4-5 years of regular use. Also one of my favorite things about these socks is that they don't seem to stretch out. Its like you have that new sock feel everytime that you put them on. At a size 11 running shoe, the larges are a perfect fit for me. It's also very awesome that they have so many colors. We got girly colors for my wife, and I got normal colors so that we don't have issues when doing laundry.

When will you get the grey in L again?

Hard to only buy 1 pair...

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size

Just like the other review from Matt below, if you only buy one pair, you're going to be doing many loads of laundry. Hands down my favorite socks for keeping my feet happy and dry whether its cycling or running. Do yourself a favor and just get two or three pairs right off the bat :)

    my favorite pair

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: small

use them for cycling - these fit really well without too much compression, or slippage. buying more of these !

Thanks for the review! Super helpful to get this feedback out to the community.

The only socks that I use now!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size

I've used swiftwick socks for the past 3 years almost exclusively. I searched and searched for the best running sock I could to avoid blisters while running. Probably tried 15 different socks before I discovered these, which was ridiculously expensive to figure out. I just needed something that wicked well to keep my feet dry, fit snuggly even after lots of use/washes, and something that had the right amount of slip inside my shoe to keep my feet from blistering.

After three years of high usage, I finally had one pair wear out. I also love these for cycling. I recommended these to one of my buddies to try for long distance hiking, and he also has fallen in love with them. I can't recommend them enough.

    Swiftwick Zero Aspire Socks

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Received my order late yesterday, wore them on my morning TT. Excellent fit, no chaffing, extraordinary feel of quality. Feet were dry and comfortable after 25 miles of riding.

I have a high arch and many socks slip down, not these. Very pleased, will see how they fare after being washed

    Best Socks I have worn

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size

How much did I like them? I bought 16 pairs and replaced all short active socks that I owned so that they would all match. I hope that I don't need more. If you run, ride, or just like short, light socks, buy them, in bulk, you won't regret it
