I'm running 50mm CLX 50 discs. Will the 55s offer enough clearance? If not, what are the best options for me? Thanks!

For any valve situation, whether tube or tubeless, you should aim for a valve at least 10mm longer than the rim so your track pump can attach.

Solid Valve Stems

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This is a solid tubeless valve stem. I have used them on many different rims with great results. Super easy to remove the valve core to add more selant.

Not Great Valve

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

took on 5 rides with my new Santa Cruz carbon wheels, got gummed up with sealant and cant add or release air. gonna by a new pair anyway though.

They Do The Job

Bought these and I'm not sure what else to say other than they hold air lol. They fit well with my wheel set and don't leak from what I've found. Be sure to buy the right length. I bought mine a little too short and my normal pressure gauge doesn't register on them. That's totally my fault though.

    The Only Stems You Need

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

If you prefer to ride your bicycle on dirt or gravel, you should be riding without tubes. Once you have come to terms with that, you should get yourself two sets of these gems. One to aid in setting up your wheels and proper tires tubeless and one set for your tool box or to convince your riding buddy that they should go tubeless as well.

Unlike some other silly shapes that other valve stems may have at the bottom, these circular ones work great with every rim that I have tried them on, and they do a damn fine job.

There is a reason that people that don't run tubeless still know who Stan is, his stuff is class defining for sure!

    My Go-to Valves

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have been using Stans valve stems since I went tubeless and have never had an issue with them. I got these sweet looking black ones to set my gravel bike up as tubeless.

    Good stuff

Got 35 mm ones to replace old valves. Super easy to install. Kinda nice that they are pained black, it makes them look nicer.

      Be Prepared

Stans is the leader in tubeless technology, so why would you buy any other valve stem? These fit my RaceFace rims perfectly, and were so easy to install that a monkey could do it. Valve cores are included. I carry a spare on every ride now.
