Odd Sizing
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it

The more sizes you try and fit, the less it fits any particular size. Was an odd fit. I'm at 32W, 5'9", and the waist wasn't bad. The length was totally off. Too long, bagged up around the ankles. Then the material was super baggy around the thighs and knees also. Uncomfortably so. Had my coworker try them on, similar waist, but 6'2". Length was right, but legs were still baggy through the thighs in a significant way. Odd. Oh well, hopefully someone else gets to enjoy my return.

Pants fit very well. I like the idea of waist size vs S,M, L,XL. Pants are not as warm as tights, however. But, perfect for me for 35-50 degree weather. Even if the sun comes out and it climbs to 60, they aren't so heavy as to be uncomfortably hot. They are light and fit loosely, unlike tights. I really like the waist velcro adjustment. The zipper fly could be about an inch longer... You will feel air come in behind the knees, as the material is perforated for ease of motion in that area. They do not bind when pedaling. My only knock on them is the lack of an ankle zipper, which I hadn't noticed when buying. I have size 13 feet and can just barely get the pant sleeve over them. They are perfect for late fall and springtime temperatures. Today, it is 24 degrees. They are too light for that temperature. Heavier Amfibs are necessary!

These pants function as advertised! Functional...can be worn when its cold, but (with the venting) comfortable when you get warm. Comfortable....great fit and full coverage of legs. And the pockets are very helpful! Glad I bought them!

Specialized does an amazing job with clothing and these pants show it. The fit is extremely comfortable with the velcro 'tie-downs' giving you a little extra comfort. They're breathable when you need it, and keep the wind off your legs. They're really a spot-on pair of pants that are durable and comfortable. Highly recommend.

Why have I waited so long?

After a month of wearing these 4-6 rides per week all I can think is "why didn't I get these sooner?" Very stretchy, breathable so they are comfortable to pedal in under 65 degrees, good protection and great athletic fit. No big crashes in them but have put two cuts in my shin hitting tree branches that were deep enough to bleed all the way to my socks but somehow didn't even leave a mark on the pants. I'd not want to do a skatepark style knee slide in them of course. Fit is equal to my standard jeans sizing. I will say that if you are between sizes you'll probably want to size down as I have the waist adjusters pretty snug as they've aged. I have 32" inseam and length is perfect.
