Cape Air Cycling Shoe - Men's

The men's Cape Air Shoes are every bit as capable as their non-Air counterparts, but for 2016, Sidi has incorporated its signature pattern of ventilating perforations all over the Lorica microfiber upper. With that added ventilation, the Cape Air combines an ability to absorb trail abuse with the comfortable breathability of Sidi's top-end road models.

Despite the added airflow encouragement, the ratcheting buckle and Tecno-3 wire system still maintain a low, wind-dodging profile, even while the perforations help keep your feet cool on long, hot climbs. The addition of Sidi's Soft Instep Closure also ensure that you can ratchet them down with impunity, getting a secure fit without an overly harsh hold.

The Air Cape's Competition Sole bring a forgiving blend of functional stiffness and trail-worthy durability to the shoes' outsole. While it's designed for optimal use while in the saddle, the sole also includes the option of mounting two toe spikes for sloppy 'cross run-ups or sodden hikes back to the trailhead if you have the misfortune of destroying a tire. For non-spike days, the shoes' debris-clearing lugs add traction on everything from hardpack to slick flooring. Finally, if you've ever lost a buckle to a crash, then you'll be happy to know that all of the shoes' fastening hardware is replaceable.
