Even the graphics are knitted rather than applied, printed, or sublimated ensuring no areas would affect compression or cause irritation. Woven leg gripper securely holds the leg hems in place and are more comfortable than silicone grippers.

The chamois is perhaps the real star of the show on these bibs and Shimano set out to create one that is comfortable for every rider. Much like it does with components, Shimano distilled rider feedback and engineers spent countless hours with finite analysis tools and computer models in the development of the chamois. The engineers created the theory and real-world testing either confirmed or contradicted the theory. It features an articulated rear section with separate left and right wings that naturally moves with your body allowing for a greater range of motion and nothing to affect a perfect pedal stroke. The 3D contouring locates thicker padding on the sides to facilitate easier movement on the saddle while changing positions and reduces bulk. Shimano employs Shock Absorption Technology, that is strategically placed closer to the saddle while smoother materials are the only ones that touch skin, helping quell road noise and evenly distribute pressure throughout the life of the chamois. As such, you stay fresher for longer while riding the classic-esque roads you love.
