Built with heavy input from Orica-Greenedge and Scott's pro triathlete roster, Scott's Split comes approved by the men who race TT's and tri's for a living. Its aerodynamic shape cuts down on air resistance while you pedal, while its lightweight shell and foam absorb impact. Though its shaping and construction is on par with other aero lids, Scott sets the Split apart by carving out ambitiously large vents into its shell. A faceport, internal channels, and rear exhaust port all work together to keep air moving through the helmet. Where aero helmets generally sacrifice ventilation for speed, the Split manages to ensure airflow doesn't impact its aerodynamic advantage.
