The almighty trail crusher.

Built to tackle hardpack inclines and sandy declines, the Saucony Women's PowerGrid Nomad TR Trail Running Shoes provide foolproof traction and premium support throughout the course of your morning trail run. Thanks to the Nomad's FlexFilm technology, these neutral trail running sneakers are equipped with minimal seaming and lightweight mesh that ultimately provides a smooth feel against your feet. Additionally, the PowerGrid midsole centers the feet atop the platform, absorbs impact, and evenly distributes pressure which ensures a comfortable and responsive transition. A wide toebox permits for ample toe splaying while PWRTRAC outsole features the unique hexagonal design that provides steadfast grip and stability in otherwise slick situations.

So lightweight!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: 11

I've used Sauconys for years, love their general running shoes and their trail shoes. This shoe overall is not super rugged, but that's what I like about it. The sole is chunky and very traction-y on the trail, without being heavy. The uppers feel literally like you're wearing nothing. A great, minimalist trail shoe.

very light weight shoe

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

The shoe had a very wide toe box more than I need.
