Bullit CC MX R E-Bike

When we have a big ride planned and need a bike that doesn't hold back anything but can still get us technical climbs, we, without hesitation, reach for a Santa Cruz Bullit. Designed as a go-anywhere-do-anything enduro e-Bike, the Bullit features 170mm of VPP suspension combined with Shimano's EP8 motor and drive system to give us an e-Bike that can do just about anything. A mixed wheel setup incorporates the best of both worlds, giving us efficiency and rollover characteristics with a large 29-inch front wheel and acceleration and agility with the smaller 27.5-inch wheel in the rear. A slack 64-degree headtube angle puts our front wheel out ahead of us on descents giving us confidence and stability, and a 77-degree seat tube angle positions us upright and over the pedals for an efficient climbing position. Shimano's EP8 drive system incorporates a 630Wh battery for extended ride time and features Eco, Trail, and Boost ride modes to give us the perfect amount of power for any scenario.

The CC MX R build of the Santa Cruz Bullit is entry-level but far from being equipped with cheap components. Santa Cruz's premium Carbon CC frame uses the best carbon fiber for the stiffest and lightest weight frame possible. SRAM's NX Eagle 12-speed drivetrain is super reliable and offers us a big gear range to help us get up the steepest climbs. A RockShox Super Deluxe select rear shock keeps the traction when we go charging through rough lines, and a RockShox Zeb Base fork features 38mm stanchions for unrivaled stiffness and is super plush. To wrap this build up, Santa Cruz equipped this ride with premium Maxxis tires, fitted with extra durable Double Down casing for increased protection.
