ADV Skin 12
I use the ADV skin 12 for mountain biking. I like it because it balances out the weight from the rear reservoir and front flask. It was very comfortable on a two day trip 160 mile bike ride. I like it much better than using a camelback.

Just a perfect hydration vest
I bought this for running ultras and half the time I forget I am wearing it. It is so comfortable, all the pockets are easy reach and it came with 2 x soft flasks which are a perfect size for what I need. I read reviews from women saying that they find the soft flask placement uncomfortable around the chest, I haven't even noticed them as they mould into the body shape. Not too warm, perfectly lightweight and quick drying. So glad I purchased this

Stable with great fit
I really like the fit, but might recommend sizing up if you are between sizes. Based on my chest measurement I fell right in between medium and small but felt like the medium was a bit better fit for me at 5' 10" and 155 lb.

ADV SKIN12
I brought the white colour for a summer ultra. I am extra small and this is true to size. It is really comfortable, loads of pockets and attachments. What is the best is how easy you can slide out, fill up and slide back in the soft flasks. Really nice bit of kit..

Everything goes everywhere!
On my 5th 20 mile hike and just continuously impressed with this vest. Not only does it hold everything and allow for easy access, but I barely notice that I’m wearing a vest with a full water bladder, 2 bottles, all my snacks and a medkit. It’s all around excellent and I love it. About to test it in the Grand Canyon and have full confidence in its ability to support what I need.

A really comfy running pack
I bought this after trying on a friend's – I was sold as soon as I fastened it! It's comfy, soft and lightweight. The fit is fantastic. I've had it about 10 months now, so it's been washed a few times without any problems. Love the front fastening system – perfect, so easy to adjust when you don extra layers or take layers off. It came with the soft flasks, and I also bought a water bladder to give me a 2.5-litre hydration capacity. The bladder hose/straw is a bit of a faff to get through and would be awkward to take out and swap mid-race, but I just open the top and pour fresh water in. I've worn it for all my longer training runs and a few ultras. It feels like you're wearing a comfy top rather than carrying a bag, which is great for longer distances. There are plenty pockets and pouches, both open and zipped. Love the top grab pocket for waterproof and gloves. The only minor issue I've found is that the finish around the neckline on the shoulder straps isn't quite as soft/rounded as other makes I've had, but if you're wearing a running top (rather than vest) this isn't a problem (and even with a vest, I just make sure the bag's strap isn't on bare skin and it's fine). I'd definitely recommend this if you're looking for a comfy running vest with plenty of space.

Sandpaper
Sandpaper feeling right out of the bag. It's terrible and I wouldn't recommend it

Works great with the Hydrapak 600ml bottles
Since I run more FKT style runs than supported races, I wanted a bit more capacity in the flasks. I purchased the 600ml hydrapak flasks and they fit just fine in the front pockets. The vest is excellent and I'll give it a decent durability rating given that it is using pretty thin materials. I understand that for racing all weight matters, but I wish there were a slightly heavier duty version for back-county adventures. Still, a great vest.

Super light-weight, perfect fit!
I struggled choosing between the women’s and unisex fit. I’m 5’2” with a 34” (flat) bust. I ended up getting the unisex in XS and it fits perfect! Plenty of adjustment to wear layers underneath and not too big to snug up with just a tank on. I usually prefer a bladder, but this vest is definitely designed around having soft flasks up front, which I’ve grown to like as well. The bladder moves around too much for my liking, plus the straw routing is not very convenient, especially if you’re swapping bladders mid-race in an ultra. You can disconnect from the straw and leave it routed, but everything gets hung up/wonky because it routes through your front pockets so you’ve got to readjust everything for the straw to move freely.. I did have to get the hydropak flasks with straws to suit my preference, and used the extra cinch cords provided at the shoulders to secure to straws when I’m not drinking, so I’m glad they included those although I’m certain they’re for attaching poles, but you could use them for just about anything. I wish there were more (secure/zipper) pockets up front, and that the stitching in the kangaroo pocket was a magnet like the Zygos 5.0 has. In all honesty, I wish the kangaroo pocket was actually 2 individual pockets that didn’t wrap around the back—I like to stay organized, and the flasks take up a lot of real estate from the other pockets.. Just have the Zygos pocket layout on the Salomon pack and it’s perfect 😅 I do love the material, comfort, fit, breathability, and especially the front closure system! Im concerned about the durability. I’ve had my pack about 1 month — washed it a couple times due to sweat/stink and hung to dry — I can see some elastic “floss” hanging out. I haven’t snagged it on anything that I’m aware of, so I’m definitely keeping an eye out for any other signs of premature wear..
