Element C50 GX Eagle Mountain Bike

The Rocky Mountain Element is an aggressive XC bike that we love to whip out when we need a bit more capability for technical trails. The Element combines an XC bike's efficiency with a trail bike's capability to bring us an exceptionally versatile bike that is down for whatever we have in mind. The Element sits on 120mm of Smoothlink suspension that rides high in its travel, supports us through technical descents, and climbs efficiently. In addition, size-specific tunes optimize performance across all sizes, and revised suspension kinematics give us a more linear progression for quicker acceleration and a smoother ride feel. The Element has exceptionally slack frame geometry for a cross-country bike and sports a 65.5-degree headtube angle in the neutral setting to enhance capability and confidence on the most aggressive XC courses. Plus, Rocky Mountain's Ride-4 adjustment system features four different settings that allow us to adjust our frame geometry to our riding style. The long reach and wheelbase keep us stable in aggressive terrain, and the 76.5-degree seat tube angle is very efficient for climbing. The Element is finished off with integrated frame protectors, sleek internal cable routing, and two water bottle mounts.

The C50 GX Eagle build of the Rocky Mountain Element is stacked with proven components at a competitive price. All carbon builds receive the same high-level carbon frame made with premium carbon fiber, boasting a high strength-to-weight ratio and reliability. SRAM's GX Eagle drivetrain equips us with a reliable 12-speed drivetrain and a huge gear range for peace of mind on the trails. SRAM G2 R 4-piston brakes have tons of power for more aggressive riding, while the 29-inch WTB ST Light i27 TCS 2.0 wheels keep us rolling efficiently. The 130mm RockShox Pike RC handles bigger hits and rowdy descents easily, while the Fox Float DPS Performance rear shock ensures traction around every switchback.
