Vertex Solid Saddle - Cromoly Rail

If you're going to go to the trouble of racing in a time trial or triathlon, the last thing you want is a saddle better suited for your road bike. The Vertex line by Profile Design offers a Solid Chromoly Rail option that keeps it affordable, with a shape that's designed specifically for riding in your aerobars.

The main difference between this version of the Vertex and its siblings is the absence of a cutout in the middle of the saddle, designed to accommodate riders who prefer a solid shape. Otherwise, the injected foam in the composite shell follows the same shape designed to maximize efficiency for riders in a more forward position as the other Vertex saddles. This saddle was also designed with the same seat tube angles, 75 and 80 degrees, in mind as its siblings, and is made with a microfiber cover for added softness close to the skin. The chromoly steel rails offer strength and durability without the price of more expensive titanium and carbon, and the saddle includes a 7mm clamping zone.
